I use a lot of white space when I code so I can read/edit the code easier does all that white space slow down the browser or server?
Technically, yes; the more text the server and browser have to parse, including white space, the worse the performance.
Practically, no. We’re talking about a couple extra microseconds.

Is it possible to use HTML coding to create a mesage board? If not, what kind of programing code can be used?
You can describe the semantics and structures of messages using HTML.
If you want to actually modify the content, you’ll need a programming language (such as Perl).

I want to build a website with a database holding text and pictures. It will need to have query and sort functionality as well as ‘easy to use’ content management. I can do the front end of the site but it’s the back end that I need help with.
Wordpress is excellent and compliant.
Mambo is now called Joomla, Joomla is VERY good.
Both have extension and mods that you can add for pictures and other things.

Heyy, thanks for clicking on my question, you’re awesome.
Do you know how to make pictures look AMAZING using photoshop? I’m currently working on a business project, and I need to make a collage with some pictures…I don’t just want to stick the pictures on simply because that looks unprofessional, but I do want to edit them and blend them in to make it look nice. Please try to help if you can, and for those of you who are just here to criticize, you can leave. Thanks
It sounds like the Photoshop techniques that would work best for you would be using blending modes and creating vignettes. For example, using certain blending modes on two layers containing the same image (in other words, there’s one layer with the original image and another layer with a copy of the same image right above it) will make the image brighter or darker, make the colors more vivid, etc. Vignettes make it possible to smoothly blend the edges of an image into a background. Fortunately, there are some great tutorials on both of those:

What are the schools with the best curriculum in web design and development? The best one that I found that had both is Full Sail in Orlando.

hands down, MIT and all of those bigger schools. from what i have found though, michigan has the best program.

It’s amazing how much damage you can do to your vision starring into a computer monitor all day. Most web developers and designers live with eye strain and poor eyesight. You can find hours of entertainment at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. There are three shows all at the same site and each is of top notch quality. The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo starts March 2nd this year and runs until March 21st. There is still time to get tickets for the entertainment event of the year.
When things get started this year on March 1st the fun continues all the way until the closing concert on March 21st. The livestock show is the portion that kicks things off and it is fun for the entire family. You can see everything from bulls to rabbits and everything in between. If you like to see young people who are committed to the responsibility of caring for and working with their animals at a high level there is no other place to be. The joy your family will get from seeing this portion of the entertainment will create family memories that will last for years.
There is also a rodeo of championship caliber. This is the PRCA’s richest regular season event. The total prize money is $1.5 million. The cowboys and cowgirls are also competing for points that count towards the PRCA World Standing and help them qualify for the National Finals Rodeo. I am trying to create my own Chat lounge in PHP on a web site and I have manged to get that working (with limited php/sql knowledge) however I am having issues figuring out how to do a users list of who in each lounge. If any one can help please contact me. I an new to php/sql and I am not anywhere near an expert more like hobbyist beginner.

It depends entirely on how you wrote your program. The program has to be aware of the users in each lounge – just make a div on the side (right side is more common), pop a textbox in it, and put the names for that lounge into the textboxes of users who are in that lounge.
Or download the source for Bahamut, or some other chat server, and see how it’s done.

I want to make a fairly simple web page with NO CSS at all. Just tables and div tags. However, I don’t feel like doing all that coding by hand. Is there any program similar to dreamweaver that will make webpages and output the code in only HTML? Even better, is there any way that I can do this in dreamweaver so it doesn’t prompt me to make a new css style?
To switch off auto css in Dreamweaver:
Edit > Preferences
On the first page under Editing Options, uncheck the box that says ‘Use CSS instead of HTML Tags’
